Below please find three easy (?!) questions about the Rules of Golf. Answer them in the comment section (“Leave a reply”) at the bottom.
Among those (if any!) with all three answers correct, we will draw lots about a copy of the Rules book “First Aid – The Rules of Golf” (which is published later this year)!

- What is the maximum number of clubs you are allowed to bring?

I got the last bit wrong. You can only carry a max no of 13 putters during a round as you must have a club suitable for measuring which can’t be a putter.

Careful on #3, you can have up to 14 clubs but one must be something other than a putter to be able to establish your relief area under the rules. A club length is defined as the longest club in your bag “other than a putter” & relief areas are defined as one or two club lengths. I would say you are allowed 13 putters & one other club besides a putter for your 14th club. USGA has confirmed this as we had a player in AZ who only has 1 club in his bag (a putter) and plays every shot with his putter. USGA says player is required to start round with at least one of his 14 clubs being something other than a putter. After starting he can disgard it if he wants to.
Club lengths are used to define teeing areas also, so a putter won’t do.
