Hi all.
This is part 26 (of 31) in a series of blogs about some of the proposed changes to the Rules of Golf.
These changes will take effect January 1st 2019.
26. ILLEGAL TEE.
Under the current Rules of Golf, there is no tolerance as to a player playing from an illegal tee. If you do so, you are disqualified.
Under the proposed new 2019-Rules of Golf you will incur the general penalty for the first incident and will be disqualified for the second.
Read this article about when a tee (under the current Rules of Golf) is illegal.
